Yonatan Collection by Jean Designs
French jeweler and Judaic artist, Jean (Hebrew name, Yonatan) trained at the prestigious Ecole du Louvre and worked in some of the most famous artist studios in Europe including Cartier and Van Cleef. He has also designed bracelet archetypes for the Swiss watch industry. When Jean decided to create a collection all his own, it was the memories of when he lived in Eretz, Israel that would kindle his artistic vision.
Encouraged by centuries of Jewish art, the Yonatan Collection was created in 1990 along with the artist’s creative partner and muse, Leslie. The collection draws inspiration from the interwoven elements of art, symbol and spirit and is named for the artist’s Hebrew name, Yonatan, which he signs on every hand finished piece.
