Q3 Art - Brilliantly Colored Judaica Made With Anodized Aluminum
Q3 Art was founded in 1988 by Marvin Shafer and was joined by Michelle Shafer in 1991. Marvin is a goldsmith and sculptor and Michelle has a background in metalsmithing, jewelry, and design. Together, they fuse their talents to create artistic and affordable products. They create their designs using anodized aluminum as their primary medium because of its ability to display saturated color, it is recyclable material, and the low ecological damage which occurs during processing.
Marvin and Michelle are members of the American Craft Council displaying their work at many of their shows across the country. They are also members of the Illinois Artisans Program. They participate in many art fairs in the mid-west and sell to many top galleries and museum shops through out the United States.
