The Janusz Korczak menorah is a scale model of the 7' x 20' sculpture on display at the Holocaust Resource Center of Temple Judea in Manhasset, New York. It is called, The Last Journey. The Janusz Korczak menorah is made by renowned Judaic artist, Gary Rosenthal.

Janusz Korczak (1878 – 1942) was a famous Jewish pediatrician, educator, author, radio talk show host, and children’s rights advocate, who ran an orphanage for Jewish children in Warsaw, Poland. On Yom Kippur of 1940, when all the Jews of Warsaw were ordered to report to the ghetto, he had many Christian friends who were willing to hide him, but he insisted on being with his children. When orders came to liquidate the ghetto and report to Umschlagplatz to board the cattle cars, his friends again implored him to escape but he said, “Who will take care of my children?” Janusz Korczak and his 200 children were murdered at Treblinka.
